Cranberry Orange Mimosa

You’re either a Mimosa person or a Bloody Mary person when it comes to Brunch Beverages. But we have a feeling all the Bloody Mary people will convert to Mimosas when they try this amazing Cranberry Orange Mimosa recipe! The natural flavors of the cranberries, fresh squeezed lemon and oranges truly bring this mimosa to the next level of delicious.

Ingredients

Cranberry Orange Simple Syrup

  • 1 Cup Cape Cod Select Frozen Cranberries
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla (Pure)
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Squeeze Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Orange Zest
  • 1/4 Cup Cranberry Juice (Pure)
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Squeeze Orange Juice

Cranberry Orange Mimosa

  • 4oz. Fresh Squeeze Orange Juice
  • 2 Tbsp Cranberry Orange Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 Tsp Fresh Squeeze Lemon Juice
  • 5oz. Champagne

Cranberry Orange Simple Syrup:

In a small-medium sized saucepan combine frozen cranberries, orange juice, cranberry juice, lemon juice, and orange zest and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid has reduced to about half. Stir in vanilla. Remove from heat and let cool. (Can store in a sealed jar for up to 3 weeks in the fridge.)

Cranberry Orange Mimosa

In a champagne flute or wine glass add cranberry orange simple syrup and lemon juice. Then layer orange juice and champagne. Garnish with frozen cranberries and orange slices.

Notes

Serve chilled with fresh orange slices and frozen cranberries.

Sugared rim: If you would like to have a sugar rim, simply roll the lip of the glass in cranberry simple syrup and then in sugar. The sugar will turn a pretty pink like the picture.
