Our Mission

Cranberries
for Every Season

Our vision is simple: we believe the tiny but mighty cranberry is too good to be reserved for just one day in November. We’re on a mission to bring the world’s finest, sustainably grown cranberries to your kitchen 365 days a year. By combining four generations of farming expertise with a modern, “can-do” spirit, we’ve broken the holiday mold to provide premium, fresh-frozen berries that never compromise on quality or food safety.

Whether we’re innovating in the bogs or pitching to your favorite local grocer, our goal remains the same: to stay humble, stay sustainable, and keep your freezer stocked with the very best of the bog.

The Values That Guide Our Bogs

Tradition

Four generations of family, one local legacy. We’ve been farming the same soil in Southeastern Massachusetts since the 1940s. To us, tradition isn’t just about the past—it’s about honoring the hard work and humble roots that made us a leader in the cranberry industry for over 80 years.

Innovation

Challenging the “holiday fruit” status quo. From Cindy Rhodes’ first pitch at Whole Foods to our high-tech hybrid vines and on-site cleaning facility, we never stop looking for ways to make the cranberry better, fresher, and more accessible. We don’t just follow the market; we create it.

Community & Planet

Protecting the land that provides for us. Being a good neighbor means being a good steward of the earth. As a GLOBALG.A.P. certified grower, we prioritize sustainability, worker welfare, and environmental health so that our community—and our bogs—can thrive for another eighty years.

Our History

1800s

Cranberry farming begins in Southeastern Massachusetts—the very same soil we call home today.

1940

The Rhodes family enters the industry as Edgewood Bogs, establishing a foundation of quality and innovation that has lasted over 80 years.

2009

Third-generation owner Cindy Rhodes launches Cape Cod Select after realizing frozen cranberries were missing from the local freezer aisle.

2010

Cindy personally pitches her berries to individual Whole Foods locations, building the brand’s footprint one store at a time.

0000

We become the first U.S. cranberry grower to achieve this prestigious global standard, proving our commitment to world-class sustainability and safety.
