Ingredients
Dough
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- Zest of one large orange
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
Cranberry Jam
- 1 1/2 cups Cape Cod Select frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions
- Make the jam first. Place all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, and then simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened and is a jam like consistency. Set aside to cool.
- For the cookies, beat the orange zest and sugar until combined.
- Add the butter, beat until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Add the egg yolks and vanilla, beat until fully combined.
- Mix together the flour, salt, and cornstarch, slowly add while mixing on slow. Mix until combined and a dough forms
- Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop out the dough, rolling it into balls.
- Using the back of a teaspoon measuring spoon, make a deep indent into the center of the cookie.
- Repeat until done, place the formed dough onto a cookie sheet into the freezer until frozen.
- Once frozen, place 6 cookies on one cookie sheet at a time. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet.
- Fill with cranberry jam and sprinkle with powdered sugar!
